The 2026 Affirmation of the Year for FAFO Trauma Recovering High-Performers

TRIGGER WARNING: This affirmation contains profanity. I offer a trigger warning for those of you who know I’m a Christian woman who sometimes uses profanity, but follow me anyway because you actually practice the “grace” that you preach.

As you are aware from my recent social media posts, given the current state of our political climate, you should be preparing for a racially tumultuous workplace experience in 2026. As I’ve said, the racist demons are loosed. Now, NO ONE at work gives a fudge about your workplace trauma. NO ONE is going to rescue you from the racism at work that is now blatantly unmasked. Given that reality, proved by the hundreds of thousands of high-performing black women who lost their jobs in 2025, those now locked out by non-black gatekeeping HR recruiters and talent managers refused a response to their remarkable resumes, and the hundreds of thousands more of us who will be released in 2026 under the guise of reduction in force (Black folk only), manufactured PIPs and promised promotions that will be aborted.

Just as with your courageous and indefatigable ancestral history, extraordinarily challenging times require exceptionally effective behavioral strategies, which I have already reviewed in my recent Tik Toks. The purpose of this short blog post is to equip you with ONE positive affirmation that is designed to short-circuit your brain the moment it begins its rumination cycle by switching the “feelings” driven-trauma-seeking pathway to a new trauma healing pathway that you are creating as a result of your trauma recovery journey. This affirmation is similarly crafted just as the former affirmations you’ve received from me by email.

As a clinician and student of neuroscience (how the brain works/responds to trauma), I craft my affirmations using language that produces efficacious and efficient desired behavioral responses. The affirmations are created for ease of use and immediate positive impact on the brain. In other words, designed to trigger the brain in the right direction with the least amount of effort/words necessary. In short, the following 3 words are designed to snap you out of your poor pitiful me victim thinking, referred to as your “well practiced” trauma loop, and snap your ass to your LOGICAL senses…i.e., your “take care of business” mindset.

So Beloved, the next time your feelings grab you by the throat, interrupting your peace and your need to handle your Black business, instead of relinquishing your time to feckless and time-wasting rumination about how indignant you feel toward your abusers/traumatizers, please speak/think these 3 PROTECTIVE FACTOR words to engender immediate resilience:

FUK THEM HEAUX! Say it twice, shake off your grief, depression, and anger, and get back to the business of doing you.

  • Fuk them Heaux!… I’m NOT giving them the satisfaction of disturbing my peace.

  • Fuk them Heaux!… I’m NOT letting them live another minute rent-free in my brain.

  • Fuk them Heaux!... I refuse to give them power over my day/career/life.

  • Fuk them Heaux!… They couldn’t have survived what I’ve already been through.

  • Fuk them Heaux!… They get 8 hours per week in exchange for a check, that's all.

  • Fuk them Heaux!… I AM going to sur-thrive this micro-aggressing bull shit.

  • Fuk them Heaux!… I am a conqueror.

(Feel free to add your own.)

Remember the facts as I have explained them to you before. Your workplace Heaux are traumatized because they CANNOT outwork you, CANNOT outthink you, CANNOT out-swag you, and CANNOT out-referent power you, so they have only ONE demonic option, which is to label you as a threat and begin the attack to eliminate you as the threat to their world order so they can restore it to its mediocrity. Use your

Fuk ALL them damn Heaux! affirmation all during 2026 to remind your brain to STOP hallucinating about how little power you have to change the impact of your circumstances and START remembering that you have all the power.

Use it and in the meantime…Fuk them heaux!

A HIGH PERFORMING BLACK WOMAN'S PRAYER:

"Dear Lord-Let "no weapon that is formed against me prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord".

AMEN

Testimonials

"Your Tik Toks are getting me through this dark time. They have tried over and over again to bully, harass and hurt me to the point I drank the Koolaid and tried to hurt myself. BUT GOD!  I have always given 300% on my job because my homelife was so unbearable. And when they attacked me with the one thing I'd spent 25 years building, I fell apart. There is a blessing in the breaking. Thank you so much sis. Your content is out here saving lives.  I pray many, many blessings rain down on you and your ministry."            Tik ToK User

"Why are we questioning $50! If you watch Auntie's videos back to back, many of us follow her to get notifications because she brings so much value."        Tik Tok User

"I am so self aware it’s mind blowing. I can see growth at lightening speed (and in comparison to all but one other therapist and that was my first one back in college). You are a bad MF and I say that with every and all kind of respect on it."          Client
